Reality check – what if you were fired today?

I don’t want to scare you, but this is an honest possibility – especially today. What would happen if you were fired, TODAY? Would you be OK? Would you instantly stress about money and think about ripping off the closest liquor store? Would you be able to eat for a couple of weeks, or is it more like days? What would happen if you didn’t have an income?

What if you could turn a hardship into a place to pivot? Instead of needing to find the next closest job that will pay you? What if you knew that you were going to be fine for months? How would your life change?

If anything you’ll finally be able to take that nice deep breath and a sigh of relief knowing that you will be fine come hell or high water.

There’s a couple of things that you can do to safeguard your future. 1. 3-6 month emergency fund

2. Have the proper insurances in place - I recommend health, disability, long and short term insurance, renters/homeowners insurance, car insurance, life insurance, and identity theft insurance.
